YOUR CONTRIBUTION AT WORK:
Programs that provided a safety net of services to meet BASIC AND EMERGENCY NEEDS assisted individuals 69,234 times last year.
Once the basics are in place,individuals are better able to concentrate
on family, work or school.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR A BETTER LIFE:
- Individuals were provided with food, shelter, transitional housing, rent and utility assistance
- Youth acquired the skills necessary to obtain employment or enroll in formal education
- County residents had one number to call for the information and resources necessary to improve their situation
- The blood needed to save lives was available
- Women and their children were safe and able to have more secure lives
