UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING

VOLUNTEERING
Day of Caring is about neighbors helping neighbors. It is an opportunity for local volunteers and teams from businesses and organizations, i.e. scouting, churches, schools and clubs, to help people in communities throughout Licking County.

Last year’s Day of Caring included more than 425 volunteers from 40 organizations and local neighborhoods. The 2,125 volunteer hours resulted in 49 projects being completed in 5 communities: Buckeye Lake, Kirkersville, Newark, Pataskala and Utica. There are so many things that volunteers can do to make an impact this one day. We know that the more volunteers we have, the more projects we can do.

“Day of Caring is a great opportunity for residents to give back to their community by helping with projects at agencies, parks and schools. Anyone who would like to volunteer, click here to download the Volunteer form. Contact Jo Fedor by or call us at (740)-345-6685 for more information by Monday, May 12th.

SPONSORING
You can support the volunteers’ efforts by being a sponsor. As a sponsor you could provide lunch, snacks, beverages and door prizes. Supplies such as paint, brushes, gloves, masking tape, landscaping materials and tools can also be provided by Sponsors.

All levels of sponsorship will be recognized in the Day of Caring event publicity and thanked during the various kick-off events. If you have any questions or want to be a Day of Caring sponsor, please contact Jo Fedor by or call us at (740)-345-6685 for more information.
